After weeks of work, planning, experimenting, testing and learning new things, I have finally finished some of the little 4"x4" talismans that I have been working on.
I have had to learn how to use polymer clay, I have designed my own goddesses and learn how to make moulds of them, I have had to learn how to solder the metal findings and how to attach the figures to the panels securely, without using glue at all.
So here are two, I have more in the making:
EDIT: They are both now SOLD.

OH WOW ROLINA!! These are totally amazing! You have learned your lessons well and executed them uniquely, with your own special twist and flair, as only you could do. You are an inspiration on may levels!
Thanks so much Sandy, they have been such fun to do!
Rolina, these are just wonderful - so original! I can see why they sold so quickly. Hope they bring good luck to your collector(s)!
These are just delightful - it's obvious your learning curve had you hitting your stride!
very nice! :D
if you didn't use glue, what did you use?
Thanks Chris Win and Jennifer.
Jennifer, I used wire to attach the jewellery pieces to the goddesses and more wire to attach those to the boards. I thought of gluing them, but wasn't sure about the longevity of that method.
These are great. Looks like they have been worth all your efforts. How fun heading in a new direction.
Thanks April, it has been a fun diversion, but the boundaries project is still ongoing.
Those are sooooo FUN!
So cool!
Thanks Carey and Sheila - they are such fun to make, from start to finish!
