A Few Sketchbook Pages

I posted about my sketchbooks a couple of months ago and how I like to call them Carnets de Travail after Elisabeth Couloigner's workbooks.  I feel a bit wrong calling them sketchbooks, when very little actual sketching gets done in them, I just paint, experiment and try out ideas.

Anyway, I have been working in them some more and here are a few pages that I have finished recently.

I now have a name for the squiggles - they are now going to be called "calligraphic lines" thanks to another blogger!

Thanks Sandy and Sheila!

I really hate to part with them, but do sometimes re-purpose pages into other art projects.

you are doing in your sketchbook...errr... not-sketchbook EXACTLY what I intend(ed) to do in mine, except I haven't done much of anything so far.

Your pages are amazing and inspiring.

Thanks Jessica - doo eeet, it is nice to feel you have accomplished something when you do a page in the sketchbook, great for those moments when you don't quite have enough time to do anything else.
