Just for fun and to see if I could do it, I made a little Willendorf Venus (about an inch and a half long). It was fun and took several attempts before I got it right.
I think I need to smooth out the nail marks before she gets baked.
Merci beaucoup, Martine! I used Fimo clay, which is easy to mould once it has warmed up in your hands. It is my first time using it so I am looking forward to seeing how it looks after being baked in the oven.
cool! I think the nail marks just make it look more rough like the original :)
use to use fimo all the time when I was younger to make jewellery, do remember the lighter colours sometimes burning a bit at the thinner parts tho :/ comes in a lot of great colours if you don't feel like painting it too :)
This brought a smile to my face as it reminded me of the last time I visited the original in Vienna. Thanks for the memory and my appreciation for your creativity.

Great idea! What did you use?

She looks better than the original I've seen in photos. Looking forward to seeing the "after," too.
Just love your Fearless Fridays, Rolina!
Thanks Chris, I think she will look much the same after baking (well I hope so).
What fun! Please post pics after she's done!
Wow - she's a beauty...I'll look forward to seeing her after baking!
Cool! You are having fun :)

Thanks Sandy, Win, Sheila and Jennifer!
Jennifer, it is a new medium for me, but it is good fun. I may do some fancy painting at some stage.

Thanks Mick, I was surprised at how small she is, for some reason, I had thought she was larger.
Rolina, what a fun thing to do!!
