Day 29 - Hints of Turquoise

I am getting excited for the end of the 30 in 30 day challenge.  I am looking forward to getting a full night's sleep and having a bit of time for normal day-to-day activities at last!

On the other hand, I will also be sad that it is over, because I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's work every day and getting to know so many nice arty bloggers.

Today's painting is on canvas, I hand-stitched a spiral before applying texture and gesso, followed by many paint layers, I love that little bit of turquoise just below the top.

Absolutely lovely! I love the turquoise and the stitching.
I am also ready to be done as I have had a challenge getting this done!
But I will miss seeing the daily work of my new friends!

I feel like I'm inside a building in a room that they have in countries such as Morocco (visited there once) or other similar beautiful arabic countries. There is sunshine coming through the window when I'm approaching the window to watch what is happening on the street.
Even in Spain you can find this feeling in certain places but I think it is the heritage of arabic influence. Wonderful work! I like it!

Thanks Mick, Sandy, Ronda and April, you are all so kind.

Thanks also Sheila, I accidentally pressed delete (annoying trigger finger) and your comment completely disappeared!
