Today's painting is on heavy watercolour paper, has some scrim and modeling paste through stencils before layers of paint are applied. I drew on some tree shapes and finished it off with machine-sewed lines at the bottom.
It has taken quite a few days, Andersson Blue. I was forced to put it aside until I could get the sewing machine set up. The final finishing touches took just an hour or so!

I like this very much. Well done!
Thanks so much, Joyfulartist!
Beautiful! How long did it take you to paint this painting from scratch? Looks like a complicated process with all different materials etc.

Thanks Jessica, for all your comments - I am having a great time with these mixed media paintings!
The addition of the thread lines to this adds a fascinating element setting a key for the launch of the viewer's exploration.
Thanks Mick, it is very interesting to think outside the box and can occasionally be quite rewarding!
